DESCRIPTION: PW lot (4) American and European, OF cases, white enamel dials, three run though one requiring some prodding to start and is not currently setting - [1] Swiss, likely by Longines, 54mm, HC model mvt cased in side winder orientation in gold-filled OF recase, case shows little wear, fine scratches and few scuffs to rear, scattered tiny nicks, nick to lower-right band, small ding to left bezel, thin slivers of wear to brass beginning to form to band edges, small strip of wear to brass to front and rear lips, few small spots of wear to brass to pendant, SS dial with spots of dirt within seconds-register that would not lift after a light cleaning, small nick below 9, few scattered short fine scratches and ultra-fine scratches, very light edge wear under bezel, fully capped lever escapement, 20-21, gilt mvt, SW-SS, s#741091, runs. [2] Waltham, Crescent St, Model 1892, 21J, 18S, nickel swingout case shows very little wear, fine scratches, scuffs, small nicks, and dings throughout, dent to lower-left rear shoulder, tiny spot of yellow tarnish to right rear perimeter, DS dial with hls and associated fractures, chips, and flakes partially under bezel at 7:30, hl with associated small fracture at 5:30, few clusters of scattered small edge flakes under bezel, few minuscule flakes to seconds-register edge, few spots of extremely light edge rub under bezel, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#12503524, runs. [3] Illinois, Illinois Central, 17J, 12S, gold-filled OF case with 1917 presentation to cuvette, case shows very little wear, scuffs and fine scratches throughout, small dings to bezel edge and band, small shallow dent where bow comes in contact with rear, excellent engraving detail, "Illinois Central" marked SS dial with faint hls within seconds-register, short scratch at 9 with associated extremely faint hls, few extremely minuscule flakes under bezel, two-tone gilt and nickel damascene, SW-SS, s#4099054, runs after some prodding to start, click occasionally not engaging when winding allowing winding to release and suggesting a possible click spring issue in need of attention, setting function unknown as crown will not lift to setting position with a firm pull. [4] new york watch Co., Aaron Bragg, 18S, 7J, nickel OF display case made for stemwind watch but with crown and stem currently missing, case shows medium wear, few fine scratches and tiny nicks throughout, overall cloudiness with scattered small spots of yellow tarnish and few dark strips of tarnish to front and rear bezel lips, SS dial with scattered edge flakes, chips, and fractures partially under bezel, few hls at 6, faint hl below center hole, few scattered fine scratches, KWKS, gilt mvt with replacement balance cock appearing to be taken from mvt by a different maker, s#37719, NR, likely broken mainspring, balance does not move freely, overhaul needed.
