DESCRIPTION: PW lot (4) American, 18S, OF cases, white enamel dials, two run with one slightly sluggishly; an interesting assortment of watches by less common American makers - [1] Aurora Watch Co, "Made Expressly for the USJ Guild" marked mvt, Grade 45, 11J, 18S, nickel case with scenic engraving to rear shows very little wear, very few fine scratches to rear, few scattered tiny nicks to band, scattered spots of light tarnish to rear, band, and bezel, excellent engraving detail, DS dial with scattered faint hls, fracture at edge of seconds-register, scattered edge flakes under bezel between 9 and 3, SW-LS, gilt mvt, s#120726. [2] peoria Watch Co, marked as "Non-Magnetic Watch Co" to mvt and dial, 15J, nickel case shows medium wear, scattered fine scratches, few small nicks to band, few small scattered spots of tarnish, engraving detail with few subtle hints remaining, SS dial with faint hl at 7:30, light edge run under bezel between 10 and 12, small edge flake at center-hole, small edge flake under bezel at 2:30, SW-LS, non-magnetic alloy balance and hairspring, nickel damascene, s#36077, NR, fully wound, balance is very gummy. [3] Lancaster Watch Co, New Era, 7J, coin silver case shows light wear, few fine scratches to rear and bezel, few shallow dents and spots of tarnish to rear edge, engraving detail with areas of partial and full loss, "Lancaster PA" marked dial with faint hls at 10, faint hl at 2:30, scattered specks of dirt, light hand rub within seconds-register, edge flakes under bezel between 11 and 3, light edge wear under bezel, KWKS, gilt mvt, s#95530, ticks slightly sluggishly. [4] Trenton Watch Co, Model 1, 4-7J, nickel case shows light wear, few fine scratches and scuffs to rear, scratches to bezel, thin partial rings of tarnish to rear, band, and bezel, dial with flakes surrounding seconds-hole, scattered edge flakes under bezel, SW-LS, gilt mvt, s#58238, NR, balance moves freely, ticks for a second after a twist.
